We have added links to a number of sites giving information on events in Central Brittany. AIKB is an organisation set up to provide support services to English speaking people living in Central Brittany and for a small annual fee offer great value for money.

HPI (Hughes Property Investissments) is an agency specialising in finding, selling and purchasing properties in the Central Area (Kreiz Breizh) of Brittany. The agency was founded by Andy Hughes who is fully accredited (green card) dealing with the full selling and purchasing cycle in conjunction with an appropriate Notaire to meet the full French process and legal requirements. HPI will also provide or advise on the other support services that are required to make life as easy as possible. These services include arranging French bank accounts, mortgages, currency conversion. Also guidance can be given for furniture removals, electricity and water supply, telephones and broadband.

HPI also recommend organisations such as AIKB who provide day to day support with making the most of living or holidaying in Brittany.

The Housing Market in France  has Stability The French housing market is much more stable than the UK, prices remain much more stable with either low but steady increase or constant prices when things get tough. The best guideline for prices is the French cost of living index.
